Kayak Harbours
The kayak harbours are a brand new concept, providing a gateway to the Archipelago and a service facility for kayakers. For a small payment you can store your kayak under lock and key and have access to a day room and bathing and toiletfacilities. Long-term car parking is avaiable here as well. The kayak harbours are located in Faaborg and Rudkøbing.

Faaborg Kayak Harbour
Faaborg Produktionsskole - Chr. IX`s Vej 8-10, DK-5600 Faaborg - phone +45 7253-0260 (harbour office). The kayak harbour is in the same buildings with Faaborg Produktionsskole by the channel at Faaborg Harbour. From the water, paddle into the channel which is to the left of the ferry harbour. Enquiries should be made to the harbour office.

Kayak Trolleys
Kayak trolleys are situated for you to use (free of charge) on the islands of Lyø, Skarø and Bjørnø. You may use the trolleys to convey your kayak to and from your accommodation venue itself. On Lyø, kayak trolleys are found near the kayak access area. Here you can get more information and order different cataloques.

3. Be realistic in your assessment of your own skill in relation to the weather.
4. Always go out with others.
5. File a route and an expected return time, and telephone if you are delayed.
